Like other public events, our Pride parades have rules. These rules will make sure that the community sees us all and that we put our best foot forward. To keep the event as clean and appropriate as possible, we have decided to ban:
- Upside-down flags
- Political statements
- Flame-producing devices
- Alcohol and smoking products
- Vulgar, violent and sexual behavior
- Unleashed, reactive and aggressive animals
- Blacked-out, confederate and other Civil War-related flags
- Kink gear, lingerie, low-cut clothes, miniskirts and booty shorts
The pulling vehicle must be able to drive slowly without stalling, and the floats must be decorated on all sides. We also ask that you toss items to spectators safely from the float and hand out large items directly. Contact us today to donate to our LGBTQ+ events.
